Saturday, April 28, 2012.

Hello ya'll, it's been awhile!  Some of you have been wondering where we are. Been busy getting acquainted with Ft. Myers, Fla.  Enjoying the Legacy Harbour Marina & spending some quality time with Misty.

Misty the Guard Cat patrolling the B & B deck!

Misty still itching, so the blue collar stays on!  Here she found a shady spot to take a little 'cat' nap!

Friday, April 27

Rented a car so that we could take some side trips up to Cape Coral & Port Charlotte.  When we headed for lunch at the Fisherman's Village, we realized that we had been there before with Bob's mom, Pat.  Had a nice afternoon just enjoying the sights.

Upon our return to the Marina, enjoyed yet another wonderful sunset.

Thursday, April 26

My bother-in-law, Thom was visiting some buddies of his in Sarasota, so he drove down to Ft. Myers to spend the day with us, before he headed back to Ohio. We had fun catching up & enjoyed dinner in town at Vino de Notte, located in the Hotel Indigo. He headed out the next morning, cause he missed my darling sister, Carol!  We were disappointed that she could not take off work to join us.

Monday, April 23

Got up early, to wash the B & B & walked across the street to Brett's for some breakfast. This was a real challenge for me because when we walked in the aroma of freshly made danish knocked you over! It took every ounce of willpower I had not to indulge, but I'm betting I will have one of those danish before we leave Ft. Myers!

Sunday, April 22

During the next week, several 'snow birds' took flight & headed back to their home towns.  Some left their boats at the Lagacy for the summer & will return around October.  So, when we arrived things were buzzing - now it's really quiet, but very relaxing.

The Capt & I walked into town for lunch at Ford's Garage, great restaurant & it appears, one of the most popular places to gather.  After lunch, we did some window shopping, walked through the local park & headed back to the B & B for the evening.  Again, another great sunset.

Thursday, April 19

Arrived at the Legacy Harbour Marina mid afternoon with a fellow boater (Janice & Eddy) that we followed through the Caloosahatchee River from Clewiston.  Had an early dinner at Joe's Crab Shack located at the Marina.

As we settled in for the evening, had a fabulous sunset.
